Thermopolis Cowboy Rendezvous June 22nd & 23rd MANY THANKS TO ALL OUR SUSTAINING SPONSORS WHO HELPED MAKE OUR 2011 RODEO SUCH A SUCCESS! Thermopolis Cowboy Rendezvous is the first big PRCA Rodeo of the year in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming. The rodeo events include bull riding, bare back riding, saddle bronc, calf roping, team roping, steer wrestling as well as one of the few steer ropings in the area and WPRA barrel racing. Vold's Triple V Rodeo stock contractor provides the rodeo with the excitement of their award winning PRCA rodeo stock. The Thermopolis Rendezvous Rodeo Association is proud to produce a yearly rodeo. The proceeds from the rodeo will offer financial support to cancer victims through the Tough Enough To Wear Pink campaign and fund educational scholarships for local high school graduates who will be participating in college rodeo activities. Thermopolis, Wyoming is situated at the entrance to the scenic Wind River Canyon and is home to the World's Largest Mineral Hot Springs and the Wyoming Dinosaur Center, as well as blue ribbon trout fishing in the Big Horn River.
